Looking in the cave

[Kane]

Kane was walking and when she saw a cave.."Ha ha ha.This could be fun.." She said pocking her head in the cave.."How far could this go." she said putting in one foot.

[Kalim]

Slowly and quite cautiously, Kalim tread upon paths both dark and supposedly dangerous. He had been told long ago to never come near this place although why, he could not say, for no one seemed to wish to give him this answer. Naturally, of course, this made certain that he explore the so dubbed 'Caves of the damned' himself yet he was not yet foolish enough to keep enough wits about himself to at least look for dangers along his way.

Much to his surprise, he found no monstrous beast waiting to devour and passersby at the caves upon his arrival but a girl instead, seeming on the same journey he himself had set out upon; to explore the unknown for the heck of it. "Ahoy there!" he called out to the girl, an air of cheerfulness in his voice, "Anything in particular that'cher lookin' for out here or do you just like going for casual strolls in this sort of place?"

[Kane]

"I came for a walk and then i ran in to this cave." she said still looking in it..
"Do you know how long this cave is." she said turning around and looked at the boy than smiled.

[Viktor Delacro]

Viktor heard voices echoing through the cavern. He opened his eyes angrily. His altar had been set up and he was ringed by burning black candles.

His prayers to Tiamat had been interrupted, and he so hated interruptions.

[Kalim]

Ha! So one could meet nice people around these caves and not just meet a gruesome and untimely end. This would have to be one to rub in anyone's face who next warned him against this area, he thought, smirking slightly to himself despite his best efforts. Either way, Kalim figured, it would be best to make with pleasantries and not to offend his potential new friend.

"I regret to inform you that I don't happen to know much about this cave at all. As a matter of fact, this also happens to be my first time here. Now, I wouldn't mind knowing your name, if that is all the same to you. As for myself, I go by the name of Kalim."

[Kane]

"I go by the name of Kane." she said with a big smiled so happy to see some one that could go with her in the cave.
"So would you like to go in this cave?" she asked nicely

[Viktor Delacro]

Viktor picked up his newly sactified sword from its place on the altar. Perhaps it would find blood on the day of its ascension.

He fastened it onto his waist and threw on his cloak.

Without a sound he melted back into the darkness of the caves.

[Kalim]

"Well, to be perfectly honest," Kalim started uneasily, for although he always held himself to be brave, there was always a certain extent to these things. As for this, he still had the nagging doubt of elders stern warnings against this area. Then again, who was to say it was dangerous only in being as hazardous as caves might normally be? After all, not every cave housed a dragon.

To him it looked as though this cave were completely abandoned and no living creature of greater size than a bat might still dwell here. Thus fueling his own dwindled courage, he managed to say the first thing that popped to mind; "Ladies first." Accompanying this with a gracious bow.

[Kane]

"Ok..." she said walking in the cave.
The cave was long and wide. Every step made a long niose
"This is going to be fun."

[Kalim]

Ok, ok, stay calm, this is fine. There is nothing to worry about here, it's just a dumb old cave. Kalim assured himself over and over again, step after step as he followed behind this girl who seemed entirely unphased by the utter, for lack of better description, creepiness of the cave.

Stopping only momentarily, he focused hard on the palm of his hand. Remember, just like they taught you at the academy, it's a simple spell. Even a child could do it. Several moments later a small ball of light burst forth from the palm of his hand. Tiny, yet enough to serve as a candle where otherwise lack of light might cause a bit of a problem. this task being done, he took only a few long strides to regain pace with Kane.

[Kane]

"This is cool. I never have been in a cave.." she said knowing that the boy was nevers
"Are you ok." she said looking at him

[Kalim]

No he was not ok! that should be obvious! He thought angrily to himself yet held his tongue, for it was not advised to make enemies from someone who so clearly was willing to be a friend. Might as well be civil for the time being.

"Sorry, just a bit nervous, I guess," he said as a bit of an understatement, "Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. How are you faring? You seem to be doing fine to me yet I figure it is polite to make sure."

[Kane]

"I am good...This is the frist time in a cave so i am kinda nervuos myself." she said still walking deeper and deeper in.

She looked at the rocky walls and studied the path. Makeing shere that it was safe to walk on.

I hope it is safe to keep going on...This must be a old cave..

[Viktor Delacro]

Viktor watched the two bumbling youths wander ;listlessly through the cavern. He wouldstrike when they reached his altar, the sight of his evil designs is much more satisfying when youths are corrupted by it.

He decided to gauge their reactions when they took in the evil. Should either show potential, he would test them for apprenticeship. Should they not?

Well, young ones get lost in caves all the time.

[Kane]

Kane heard something..
"Ummm..Did you hear something? Or was it me?" she said looking at Kalim
