Away from the World

She kissed him back and laid her head on his chest, she smiled a bit before falling into sleep. She dreamed of nothing but the darkness. She stretched out a bit and slept for a couple of hours before waking up again. She looked down at David and touched his cheek before gentally moving away and dressing...She moved to the back of the cave and watched the dragon sleep, she was in awe at his beauty...she didn't want to wake up so she kept her distance and kept silent.

[David Augustine]

"Is there something on me?" a deep voice sounded. Bahamut moved his head to where he could see her with one eye. It's ruby pupil was a slit against the emerald eye. He studied her for a moment and blinked. He let out a puff of smoke and awaited her response.

" It was not my wish to wake you, forgive me." She wasn't sure what she wanted anymore...all she knew is she needed her shadows back as they were, they were her strength and protection.

[David Augustine]

"I know your delima. You think that darkness is starting to go away from you. However, you are wrong. It is collecting inside of you and transforming you. Surely, you must have felt it last night. You didn't want to stop, but that was really the darkness. Yes, David's sword maybe able to refill your aura, however, since your end of your purity it was able to invade you even more." Bahamut explained, "As you must see, if you truly want to regain that aura if that's what makes you feel safe. You would listen to him. It is transforming you making you grow stronger and making your darkest desires more wanting. It will also have a toll on your body. Don't worry it won't ruin your lovely form but heighten it instead. I suggest that daily that you touch the shadow portion of his sword, that will supply you with enough. But even after that, study and train and stay with him. Your affair with him helps heighten it. However, once you become one with darkness and become it's most attractive form. I only ask that you do not harm my friend and that you do not forget him. Believe it or not but he is helping with your growth by accelerating it somewhat."

She listens to him and bowed her head and spoke slowly, "I will do as you ask...but you must understand...even for a dark creature like myself...David means a great deal to me...and I will not lose him...He gives me more than any power can..much more..." She looked at the dragon but did not speak what she thought

Is it weak of me to know...I would die for the one I loved? To be willing to give up everything?

[David Augustine]

The dragon blinked his large eye as it was still focused on Raven. "Do not worry yourself." he simply stated, "If anything were to happen to you he would know what to do." He than remain silent for a while. He then stretched out his massive wings and legs. He sat up craning his neck downward to look down at Raven with both eyes.

She slid her fingers through her hair and nodded a bit. She looked back at him, she had never seen a dragon this close. She smiled a bit, she thought of David and wondered what made him...want her.

[David Augustine]

"You should go back to him." Bahamut advised, "And I would avoid the Dark Citadel. There is a being who is consumed by darkness. He doesn't control it, it controls him. Stay with David, he will help you become consumed by it, but you'll be able to control it."

By the now dying fire, David started to awaken. He made his way to his clothes and pulled them on. He looked around wondering where Raven was at.

She nodded and glanced toward the mouth of the cave, "I will not go to the Dark City then..."She had no doubt that David could help her and he would...She smiled slightly, hoping she would have what she needed soon.

[David Augustine]

David stood up as he grabbed some wood nearby and built the fire back up. Even though the cave was warm from the heat Bahamut provided David still needed it to cook. He pulled out a pot and eggs and other breakfast items. He started cooking in a few minutes.

Raven bowed her head to the dragon and went to David and sat back down. She was thinking about how she would go about this, where would they start first? She sighed and leaned back, she felt like she had fallen so far down.

[David Augustine]

"Good morning, angel of darkness." David said as he poured out the cooked eggs and meat as it was mixed together. He scrapped some out onto a plate and handed it to Raven. He then put the rest of his own plate. He took out some biscuits and warmed them up by placing them by the fire. Handing one to her and keeping the other to himself.

She ate and nodded to him, "Morning." She glanced out of the cave, she felt kind of bad, had she taken away time he needed to himself? She could return home alone if he wished to spend more time up here...

[David Augustine]

David finished eating and looked at Raven. "You don't have to leave unless you want to." he told her, "I'm glad that you came. I'm glad that my burden is somewhat lighten now that you know about Bahamut." He moved up to her side again and wrapped his arm around her.

She stroked his cheek softly and smiled a bit, "I feel like I've been taking away time you've wanted to yourself...And don't want to...crowd you." She had never been a needy person before but she needed to be sure...she wasn't being too much.
