David landed on the other side of the gate. He had managed to jump over it but not very easily. In fact, he had to climb part of the way up. Without the aid of his spear, he couldn't jump the maximum height. He needed to get his spear head back.
It had been several weeks since the last time he came and as far as he could tell, nothing had changed. He came marching right up to the building that was behind all of the gravestones. He stood a few feet away from the citadel.
"Okay, now how do I get in?" he questioned himself. He had to do this without Vicktor knowing that he was here. He wasn't dressed in his usual armor. In fact, he was wearing a disguise. He wore a commoners clothing along with a cloak that hid the sword that he had with him.

David walked up to the door and ran his hand across it. He examined it for a bit and tried to figure out how to open it. The door didn't exactly had a pull or push sign on it. There were also no handles so he figured that the door was of either two things. One it was magical and could only be opened by using magic or saying certain words. And two, it simply wasn't there. The fact that two was very unlikely he chose to go with number one. He then started to say words that sounded magical at random.

Kaldaka had been prowling the edge of the Citadel when she saw David vault over the fence. Her brow wrinkled as she quietly leaped it and followed him, her every movement silent. Coming up behind him, she stood for several moments, watching as he randomly started saying magical words. At least to her they sounded magical. Suddenly her keen ears heard a movement from behind the door. Placing a hand over David's mouth, she dragged him backwards, hissing at him to keep silent as she tugged at him with little avail.

"Open..." David had started when Kaldaka covered his mouth. He started stumbling backwards as she dragged him away from the door. He didn't even know who it was as first. He turned his head and saw her motions. He nodded in agreement to be quiet.

Saphira...or rather the raven in the darkness stood still. Its beady eyes glittering with abnormal intelligence, listening in on everything. Not being noticed. Saphira grinned at herself.

Kaldaka nodded her head in relief, then standing up on tip-toes (she was only 5'7" to his 7'0") she whispered, "Somebody's moving right beyond the door. They probably heard you."

"Oh." David replied looking at Kaldaka. He looked from her and back to the door. He thought about it for a while. "Maybe there is another way in." he whispered to her as he walked back and started scanning the building's facade.

The raven flew down closer towards the door. ONly its eyes were visible i the shadows. The only problem was, the Raven was rather small. THe view from its eyes were not great. So silently, Saphira changed into the familiar shape of a black phoenix, eyes buring. Listening. Silently.

Kaldaka shrugged. "Well, I don't know. This is only my second time here, though I've often come this way. Anyways, yo'ure here for your spear-head, right? Well, then, figure out where you saw it last and go for it. However, I'd be very careful if I were you." She looked uneasily at the black phoenix nearby, then her gaze softened. For some reason the phoenix looked familiar. She shook her head and turned back to David.

"The last time I saw it." David repeated with a quiet chuckle, "It went through Delcro's shoulder and broke off as I was removing the spear. So if he hasn't destroyed it yet, it's either in his room or on him." His eye then caught something. It was an open window. There was no visible or physical barrier. He could easily jump there by jumping from other extended structures of the building.
He picked up Kaldaka and looked at her. "Hold on." David told her. He then started to jump towards the open window. He first jumped onto a near by gravestone. Then onto the roof of the porch. From there he jumped to a gargoyle's head to a window sill to a balcony and then to the sill of the open window. He let Kaldaka climb inside first as he then slid inside himself. He then bent over and breathed heavily trying to catch his breath.

Kaldaka slid in through the window, landing with an easy grace as her black cloak whispered around her. Immediately she moved aside, waiting for David to come through. "Hurry," she whispered up to him, her grey eyes looking almost silvery in the dim light. "If we hurry, we might be able to find it or him before they're aware of us." She grimaced and rolled her eyes. "One hopes."

David finally caught his breath and looked around the room. He looked back at Kaldaka and saw her silvery eyes. He nodded in response to what she said. He carefully looked around the room and opened anything that might of held what he was searching for. He found nothing.
He slowly made his way to the door of the room. He opened it slowly and looked up and down the hallway to check if it was clear. Once he determined that it was so, he slowly walked out. He looked up and down the hallway once more. He noticed that there were many doors. He slowly walked up to one and put his ear against it to try and listen if anyone was in there.

Kaldaka stood, motionless as she watched David place his ear against one of the doors. Suddenly sighing and shaking her head, she hurried over. "Are dragoons trained to do that?" she teased him in a whisper as she placed her own ear against the door. "I know for sure assassins are, but I hadn't known that dragoons were as well."

"Um, no we are not." David replied quietly as he stood back up straight, "At least that was the last time I checked." He looked up and down the hall from both sides. He then looked at Kaldaka to see if anyone was in there. "Well, do you hear anything? And if you don't try opening the door."
